The project aims to build capacity of local governments, decision makers, policy makers on climate resilient and socially inclusive urban planning and development. Four main activities include: Conducting trainings for local level actors to enhance technical and communication skills to engage with partners and stakeholders to formulate and implement climate resilience plans. To provide inputs, as part of the larger stakeholder group, to the national methodology for integrating climate concerns in urban development plans. Connecting local governments with relevant national level organisations through national level policy dialogues to encourage vertical collaboration. Organise peer-to-peer exchange between cities at national and international level to encourage replication of good practices and horizontal collaboration
