ICLEI Innovation project seeks solutions in the segment of afforestation or urban green areas, whose business model or solution offered has the potential to promote more green spaces in cities, strengthen their management and sustainability or promote the adoption of solutions based on nature, with the possibility of generating measurable results. The program seeks to encourage the generation of technology applied to the demands and challenges of cities, with a focus on sustainable urban development through the support of startups in innovation and sustainability in local public management. The local and regional governments are the main source to indicate the biggest challenges in the public administration. Through its contribution, ICLEI will work along statups on the development of solutions to the urban problem pointed as the most important to be addressed.
