ICLEI coordinates this project. This project will establish a platform for the exchange of knowledge in the field of NBS bringing together different actors. ICLEI will hold the outreach secretariat and helpdesk guiding the platform governance. ICLEI will be leading the work on task forces set up by the European Commission together with the project partners. ICLEI will drive the selection of semester themes for NBS making sure there is maximisation of impact and extending the NBS community of practice. As project coordinator, ICLEI will ensure smooth running of the project in terms of administrative, financial, internal communication and related issues. ICLEI will engage with the co-production, development and maintenance of the web platform for the project- Furthemore, ICLEI also plays a role in gathering evidence base by mapping the knowledge landscape for NBS, ascertaining collaboration with other existing H2020 NBS projects. ICLEI will be active in the facilitation of dialogues and organisation of events, ensuring the dissemination of gathered knowledge and provide support and guidance for EU policymakers.
