Statistics from our 8th Summit
Almost 200 countries and at least six Heads of State convened from 21 October to 1 November 2024 in Cali, Colombia, under the theme of ‘Peace with Nature’, which served as a powerful call to action. The 16th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 16) was also the first since the adoption of the KunmingMontreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) in 2022.

The theme of the Summit was TAKING ACTION for BIODIVERSITY and the program centered around three elements: Partnering, Progress and Peace.
