‘Taking action for nature’, the slogan unveiled alongside the official COP logo, reflects Armenia’s ambition to deliver an action-oriented UN Biodiversity Conference. 

The logo, inspired by an Armenian endemic butterfly, stresses that all 23 targets of the KMGBF are part of one interconnected, indivisible whole, requiring holistic, whole-of-government and whole-of-society approaches.

In Yerevan, Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity will undertake the first global review of collective progress in implementing the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF). This milestone moment is expected to provide critical guidance for accelerated implementation and strengthened ambition worldwide towards 2030, and the 2050 vision of living in harmony with nature.
